About
I returned to Korea about ten years ago after meeting my birth family. I have spent my time learning Korean, working with single mothers and adoptees, and attending Hongik University, a great art school in Seoul. I received a full scholarship from the Korean Government to study film and animation. My Korean is pretty good now and my listening and reading skills in French got better while living in Seoul.
Before living in Korea, I lived in NYC/Brooklyn, LA, and Philadelphia working in fashion and textile design, fine art and illustration. I also attended a Media Production Program at BCAT in Brooklyn.
I currently am back in Seoul. I have a BFA from RISD in Apparel Design and an MFA from Hongik University for Film & Animation. I was recently a part of Crazy Multiply, an art collective in Seoul. I am concentrating once again on painting on silk using Korean Traditional Techniques, while using my own style and visual language. I enjoy working collaboratively with others as well as working on my own.
